Nora's moving up

Nora got to move to a crib this morning. She has been able to hold her temperature well on her own, so now she can move out of her isolette. The only thing left to tackle before she comes home is "ad lib" eating. She needs to consume enough food on her own demand without losing weight. She is about half way there now. She wakes to eat, but only finishes about half of what the doctors calculate she needs to grow. She is eating more each day, so it will be soon.

  1. Reading your experience has sure stirred my memories from when I worked in infant/peds ICU. I remember trying to coax newborns to eat, all cozy up in a rocking chair with them for a half hour.
It sounds like a little bit of improvement every day. You must be encouraged.
